Are you A Muslim Immigrant?

A Doctoral student is interested in learning more about the experiences of Muslim Immigrants. The purpose of the study is to investigate the religious and/or spiritual struggles of Muslim Immigrants and explore whether these struggles have impacted their mental health.

To participate in this study, you must be 18 years of age or older, identify yourself as a Muslim Immigrant, and live in the Waterloo Region. You will be:
• Interested in sharing your religious and/or spiritual struggles.
• Interested in sharing whether your religious and/or spiritual struggles affect your mental health.
• Able to attend a 1-2 hour-long interview with the researcher either in-person or online through secure virtual communication tools.
• 12 participants will be recruited for this study.

NOTE: This study is voluntary and all personal information will be kept confidential. You are free to withdraw from the study at any time.
